A (Little) Giant Homecoming: NCW Bristol Bash Results

This past Saturday night Northeast Championship Wrestling returned to Rhode Island for the NCW Bristol Bash with The Little Giants returning home to challenge for the NCW Tag Team Titles against The Middlesex Express! A huge thanks to all of our fans who came out to support our return to our Bristol home!

Johnny Moran defeated King Leon the VI in Moran’s NCW debut after laying out the King with a vicious DDT.

Ike the Bite & Tim Davidson w/ Dallas McCarthy won the NCW Tag Team Gauntlet to become #1 contenders to the NCW Tag Team Championship when they defeated Mutually Assured Destruction (Perry Von Vicious & Tomahawk) when Ike upset Tomahawk.

  1. The Turtles in Time (Steve “The Turtle” Weiner & “Insane” Dick Lane) defeated Detox (Jason Devine & Ricky Mederios) when Lane and Weiner were able to hit double chokeslams to eliminate Detox.
  2. Zachary Pierre Beaulieu & John Francis d. The Turtles in Time after Detox blindsided The Turtles allowing the International Flavour to pick up the victory.
  3. The surprising pairing of “The Native American” Tomahawk & Perry Von Vicious dubbing themselves Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) d. ZPB and Francis to move on in the gauntlet.
  4. Ike & Davidson d. MAD when Ike pinned Tomahawk after a miscommunication between PVV and Tomahawk.

“The Dan Ram” Danny Ramirez d. Alexander Lee as Lee continued to attack Ramirez throughout the match until “The Dan Ram” was able to fight from behind to score a surprise pin fall on the Godfather of the MSP.

An irate Lee then began to accost the referee Rob Greer until NCW President Dean “The Beast” Livsley came in to stop  the harassment only to get shoved by Lee himself. Livsley returned the favor by clotheslining Lee down for his trouble!

The Lumberjake d. “The Heavy Hitter” Shay Cash via disqualification when “Revolution” Chris Venom interfered in the match, drawing the DQ. Based on an earlier challenge by Lumberjake– because of his victory he earned 5 minutes in the ring with Kevin Castro!

– Kevin Castro d. The Lumberjake as the fallen Jake found himself on the receiving end of an ‘elbow drop’ by Castro allowing him to score the pin on the beaten down Jake.

Channing Thomas and NCW Heavyweight Champion Osirus w/ Doc Ozone went to a No Contest  when Todd Harris shockingly came in through the crowd to assault Osirus. Harris then said while ‘Todd Harris was done in NCW,’ he said nothing about the name Brett Ryan Gosselin. Both men then continued to assault Osirus and then grabbed Doc Ozone with Thomas attempting to break his neck. “Foxy” Calvin Campbell soon ran in to stop the carnage, and NCW President Dean “The Beast” Livsley turned things into a tag team match.

– Brett Ryan Gosselin & Channing Thomas d. NCW Heavyweight Champion Osirus & “Foxy” Calvin Campbell w/ Doc Ozone when Harris pinned Osirus thanks to a distraction from Sierra. The Triple Threat continued to attack Osirus post-match, brutally laying out “The Champ.”

–  Ox Baker Memorial Cup holder “RIOT” Kellan Thomas defeated “Revolution” Chris Venom after Lumberjake returned the favor to Venom, headbutting him behind the referees back and giving Thomas the win.

– NCW New England Champion “The Ace” Mike Montero w/ Detox d. Frank the Crank to retain the New England Title after Mederios and Devine aided Montero in retaining against the hometown hero.

The Little Giants (Robbie “The Giant” Araujo & Bullet Grinvalsky) defeated the NCW Tag Team Champions The Middlesex Express (Steven Lust & Steven Broad) to regain the NCW Tag Team Titles from their rivals.
