Rumble Madness: BRG Wins the 2019 Big City Rumble

The 2019 Big City Rumble may go down as the most shocking Rumble in NCW history as Curry Boy seemingly won the match after entering in at #30 (defeating newcomer Cameron Roze earlier in the night) and eliminating Alexander Lee, “Deliciously Vicious” Vern Vicallo, and Osirus in a huge upset. As the reunited Turtles in Time celebrated Curry Boy attacked both Dick Lane and Delilah Hayden and unmasking himself to reveal NCW Heavyweight Champion BRETT RYAN GOSSELIN as the man impersonating Curry Boy under the hood. In the mass confusion from fans, officials, and wrestlers alike BRG stated that since he won the Big City Rumble match, he would not have to defend his title November 15th at WrestleFest XV. The NCW locker room swarmed on BRG as they looked to take out their frustrations out on the cocky champion, but despite beating Gosselin within an inch of his life the fact remains  that the main event of WrestleFest is in flux with no challenger in play to wrestle for the title.

The 2019 Rumble also saw NCW New England Champion Mike Montero and Detox dominate the Rumble in impressive fashion eliminating the entire ring of entrants at one point and controlled the match until The Little Giants were able to turn the tide. “All That” Ava Everett came to the aid of her new gal pal Sierra, Chris Venom stole a victory over Vern Vicallo, Lumberjake continued his war with Kevin Castro as Castro implemented his $5k bounty on Jake, and “The American Hammer” Dan Terry took out his frustrations by seriously injuring commentator Derek Simonetti after Terry was eliminated by Dick Lane in the Rumble Match. Detailed results will be forthcoming as we prepare for NCW Friday the 13th and NCW Fallout September 13th and 14th as NCW’s Fall Brawl Tour kicks off in September!
