Results from COLLISION COURSE 2013

This past Friday Northeast Championship Wrestling kicked off its 2013 Season at the Elks Lodge in Norwood, MA for COLLISION COURSE, a huge night of wrestling action that saw two title changes, an intense confrontation between NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley and “Dynamite” Doug Summers, and the Heavyweight Champion JT Dunn getting blindsided by Scotty “Won’t Die” Vegas following Dunn’s impressive victory over “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva.

– Before the night’s action began, Ring Announcer Shane “Sipowicz” Daly welcomed his co-host for the evening Scotty Vegas, who was forced to join the announce team at the end of last Season after he attempted to quit NCW. Unwilling to break his contract, Livsley made Vegas fulfill his remaining dates as a ring announcer.

– NCW New England Champion Kevin Perry w/ Rob the Giant d. “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy via submission to retain the New England title. During the match “Simply the Best” GA West and Doc Ozone came to ringside, scouting both the New England Champion and McCarthy.

– Scotty Slade d. “The REFolution” Anthony Greene via pin fall with a sit out urinage.

– The Loomis Brothers d. Big Bully Rezner & Pacifico in tag team action.

– Too Shay d. Christopher James

– “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger & “The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed d. the BLT to win the NCW Tag Team Championship after Krueger & Creed jumped the Tag Team Champions, handcuffing Ruy Batello to the ring ropes. A fighting Lumberjake wanted the match to continue, and put up a valiant fight before becoming overwhelmed with the numbers game.

– Dean “The Beast” Livsley then made his way to the ring, and admonished the new Tag Team Champions for their actions. Since they essentially wrestled a 2 on 1 handicap match against Lumberjake, Livsley then made another Tag Team Championship Match immediately, taking on Davey & Eddie Loomis.

– The Loomis Brothers d. Jack Krueger & Alex Creed to win the NCW Tag Team Championship in dominant fashion, laying out both men with catapult bicycle kicks!

– Following intermission, Dean “The Beast” began going over his State of NCW Address when he was interrupted by “Dynamite” Doug Summers. Summers was furious over Livsley ignoring him, and not talking more about Doug Summers. Dean informed him that he would not be giving Doug any press for what he did to Steve “The Turtle” Weiner at WrestleFest, and he should be ashamed of himself. Doug then blamed Dean for professional jealousy, and started challenging him to a fight. Dean happily accepted, only to have Doug quickly back off. Livsley then promised that there was a whole locker room full of people who were pissed at Summers, and tonight would start with “The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople!

– In a wild Triple Threat Match, “The Hampton Beach Badass” Hunter Ward d. Rob the Giant w/ Kevin Perry & El Saguaro after hitting a inverted suplex on the debuting Saguaro.

vegas_dunn– “Simply the Best” GA West w/ Doc Ozone d. “RIOT” Kellan Thomas in a hard hitting back and forth match, with both men pulling out all the stops. In the end West used leverage from his feet on the ropes to keep Thomas down.

– “The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople d. “Dynamite” Doug Summers with the ‘whammy bar’ to pick up the victory.

– “The Juice” JT Dunn knocked out “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva to retain the NCW Heavyweight Championship in a tremendous main event match. As Dunn celebrated his victory, Scotty Vegas came out of nowhere to attack the NCW Champion, laying him out with vicious blows to the head while choking him out. Vegas felt disrespected when Dunn kicked him out of the ring during introductions, forcing his hand into action.

PRESS RELEASE: NCW’s 2013 Season Kicks Off February 22nd with COLLISION COURSE

collision13_flyerNORWOOD- After a two month absence on Friday night February 22nd Northeast Championship Wrestling kicks off the debut event of our 2013 wrestling season when we return to the Elks Lodge in Norwood, MA [150 Winslow Avenue] for COLLISION COURSE. Competing in a seasonal format from February through November, for sixteen years NCW has presented a unique night of entertainment for fans bringing forth our larger than life characters, dynamic storylines, and incredible athleticism all while providing a unique experience for fans of all ages.

When the 2013 Season begins on February 22nd we will see the two time NCW Heavyweight Champion “The Juice” JT Dunn defend his title against Brockton’s own Mike Paiva, NCW’s longest reigning champion who lost his coveted New England Championship last November to “The Insider” Kevin Perry. With his own title lost, his best friend and manager fired from the company, and his elite stable Zero Tolerance disbanded, “The Original Showoff” has set his sights on Dunn’s gold, looking to end his title reign before it even gets started.

The Big Lovable Team of Northeast Championship Wrestling will be in action in Norwood when “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello and the Lumberjake defend their NCW Tag Team titles against the maniacally twisted duo of “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger and “The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed. While the BLT reigned supreme over the tag team division at the end of last season, Krueger has drawn a line in the sand, promising that 2013 will be his year after a 2012 that saw any ups and downs for him.

In his first title defense since winning the New England Championship at WrestleFest VIII, Kevin Perry will go one on one with former NCW Original Mike McCarthy, the hard hitting rock star who’s determined to dominate the ranks of NCW this season.

Also appearing February 22nd in Norwood will be the 2012 Season Cup Winner Rob “The Giant” Araujo, “The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople, “RIOT” Kellan Thomas, NCW 2012 Rookie of the Year Anthony Greene, “Dynamite” Doug Summers, David & Eddie Loomis, the NCW 2012 Wrestler of the Year “Simply the Best” GA West, “As Seen on TV” Scotty Slade, NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, and many more!

The Norwood Elks Lodge is located at 150 Winslow Avenue in Norwood, MA directly off Rt. 1A. Doors open at 7pm with a special 7:40pm start time for the wrestling action to begin. – David Marxxx-Loomis (without his adopted father JC Marxxx) d. Dale Denile in Denile’s first NCW appearance since being ousted from the Schillar Park Posse in 2010 by his former partner “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger.

– One half of the NCW Tag Team Champions “The Unequaled One” Todd Sople came out to the ring, willingly forfeiting the NCW Tag Team Championship after he announced that his partner Gunar Rowe was injured and in need of surgery. After handing the titles to Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, Sople issued an open challenge to anyone in the back.

– Rob the Giant d. “The Unequaled One” Todd Sople in a great match-up that saw both men give their all. Following the match, Giant offered a handshake to Sople, which he reluctantly accepted.

– “The REFolution” Anthony Greene d. “The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed in a huge upset, as the former NCW official continues to make waves in the ring as a competitor thanks to training from his brochacho “The Juice” JT Dunn.

– “The Insider” Kevin Perry w/ Rob the Giant d. NCW New England Champion “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva w/ JC Marxxx via disqualification when Paiva knocked out referee Redd Roche in a cheap attempt to throw out the match. Paiva had already attempted to walk out on the match to retain by count out, only to be thwarted by Livsley who tossed Paiva back in. With nowhere left to turn, Paiva decked Roche.

– Following the match Dean announced that on November 30th at NCW WrestleFest VIII Paiva would have to defend the New England Championship against Kevin Perry in a Lumberjack Match that would also feature Livsley himself as the special enforcer referee.

– “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello (as the Lumberjake) and the Lumberjake (as Ruy Batello) won the NCW NO FEAR Costume Battle Royal after deciding they didn’t want to fight one another. Other participants included;

  • “RIOT” Kepler Thomas
  • AG Creed
  • John “The Turtle” Munroe
  • Mean Street Greene
  • Mike the Fan
  • Mike Paiva’s personal associate Abel James

– “The Hampton Beach Badass” Hunter Ward d. “Simply the Best” GA West w/ Doc Ozone & “RIOT” Kellan Thomas in a Triple Threat Match.

– NCW Heavyweight Champion Buddy Romano w/ JC Marxxx d. Eddie Loomis in what was believed to be a Pick Your Poison Match. Following the victory however “The Juice” JT Dunn came out and told Romano that Eddie wasn’t his chosen opponent, but rather a former NCW New England Champion in the form of “The Celtic” Conner Murphy (formerly known as Paul Hudson)!

– “The Celtic” Conner Murphy d. Buddy Romano in a huge upset after Dunn distracted the NCW Champion. A disgruntled Romano then announced his challenger for Dunn, the dastardly Scotty Slade!

– Scotty Slade d. “The Juice” JT Dunn in the Pick Your Poison Challenge after a low blow from Slade.

– The BLT d. Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner in the Tag Team Gauntlet to win the vacated NCW Tag Team Championship.

  1. The Super Rad d. Triplelicious & “The Barrington Bulldozer” John Munroe
  2. Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner d. The Super Rad after Pacifico finished off Steve “The Turtle” Weiner while Doug Summers was celebrating his victory over Trip & Munroe.
  3. The BLT d. Pacifico & Rezner to win the Championship.

– In the opener Eddie Loomis pinned Scotty Slade with an explosive german suplex. Despite making his NCW debut, Slade dominated the match against the more inexperienced Loomis. After Slade became a bit too overconfident with his dominance, Eddie came out of nowhere with the suplex for the upset victory.

– Steve “The Turtle” Weiner d. Richard Pacifico after Weiner rolled through a ‘cobra clutch slam’ for the win. Following the match a volatile Pacifico brutalized Weiner, laying him out in retaliation for the loss.

– Michael Tootsie Esquire debuted his “Tootsie Time” interview segment, calling out his cousin JC Marxxx and Zero Tolerance (Buddy Romano, David Marxxx-Loomis, Mike Paiva, & Kevin Cordeiro). MTE questioned the dissension in Zero Tolerance, especially between Loomis and Romano. Marxxx assured everyone that things were fine in ZT, and that Davey would get a Title Match against the winner of Buddy/JT in Dedham. David then got in Buddy’s face, calling him out for stealing his Title Match for the night, leading to Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley coming to the ring to break up the crying fit. Dean then kicked ZT out of ringside, and told Paiva he’d be defending his New England Title right then and there.

– Rob the Giant then came out to the ring for his New England Title Match, along with his friend Lumberjake!

– NCW New England Champion “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva w/ Kevin Cordeiro d. Rob the Giant w/ Lumberjake after Cordeiro knocked Giant down with a pair of knucks. Following the match Robbie used those same knucks on Paiva, taking him out of the equation for the next match.

– The Lumberjake w/ Rob the Giant d. “Cocky” Kevin Cordeiro w/ an unconscious Mike Paiva with the ‘log ride’ splash.

– “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger came out to the ring following intermission, accompanied by the bizarre Alex Creed. Krueger, wearing an “X” on his face as symbolism of the fallen Cenobite, talked about his victory at REUNION changing everything, and people finally believing the reality of fate. He’s changed the life of Creed, who’s begun to follow Krueger following REUNION, and will soon prove to everyone the hands of fate are real.

– Triplelicious & “The Barrington Bulldozer” John Munroe d. “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger & Alex Creed when Krueger walked out on his tag team partner, allowing his follower to be sacrificed to Munroe & Trip. Creed was finally finished off with a vicious chokebomb slam.

– David Marxxx-Loomis d. “The RIOT” Kellan Thomas in an amazing match of athleticism and finesse, with both wrestlers pulling out all the stops. After a series of near-misses Loomis was finally able to hit his back-driver suplex onto “RIOT” for the win.

– NCW Tag Team Champions The Unequaled Destroyers (“The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunar Rowe) d. Ruination SLAM (“Dynamic” Jon Thornhill & “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello) to retain the Tag Team Championship, though it was revealed afterward Batello’s shoulder was not pinned to the match.

– In the West Warwick Street Fight Buddy Romano d. “The Juice” JT Dunn to win the NCW Heavyweight Championship after a low kick to the crotch, after a series of events involving Zero Tolerance & Dean “The Beast” Livsley. While Dean kept near the entrance to ensure no interference from the wild brawl, Cordeiro & Paiva eventually blindsided Livsley, throwing him into the post with JC forcing Davey Loomis to handcuff him. With Dean out of the match ZT took their shots on Dunn until “The Juice” began to fight back. Loomis was instructed to take Dunn out with the steel chair, but he refused leading to Romano taking matters into his own hands.

Following the match Dunn took his frustrations out on Mike Paiva, while a remorseful Loomis finally gave the keys to un-cuff Livsley, sending “The Beast” out of the building chasing down the remaining Zero Tolerance members.
