Press Release: NCW Returns March 8th in Dedham, MA!

DEDHAM—After three long months on Friday night March 8th Northeast Championship Wrestling returns to action for our 2019 Season kickoff when we return to our home at the Jacob Jones VFW Post (84 Eastern Avenue) in Dedham, Massachusetts for NCW 2019! Doors open at 7pm with a 7:30pm bell time. Tickets will be available at the door for only $10 with discounted tickets on sale at!

The end of WrestleFest XIV last November saw the 2018 Big City Rumble winner Osirus finally win the NCW Heavyweight Championship defeating Todd Harris despite Harris’ best efforts to hold onto the title. Flanked by Doc Ozone and “Foxy” Calvin Campbell, “The Champ” has promised to be a fighting NCW Champion ready to take on any and all challenge put in his path. At NCW 2019 he’ll be put to that test when he steps into the ring for the first time ever with the founding father of The Maine State Posse in Alexander Lee, NCW’s first ever Triple Crown Winner (having previously held the Heavyweight, New England, and Tag Team Championships in NCW).

As for the “Trust Fund Prodigy” Todd Harris? Officials have repeatedly attempted to reach out to Harris since WrestleFest to no avail, and has yet to commit to appearing in Dedham March 8th. One Upperclass representative who has confirmed for NCW 2019 is the 2018 Women’s Wrestler of the Year “Picture Perfect” Sierra, who has demanded her award and suitable competition after taking out “The Suplex Sweetheart” Isana at WrestleFest.

March 8th will see two former Heavyweight Champions collide when The Lumberjake steps into the ring with “Revolution” Chris Venom in singles action. Jake showed compassion during the All-Star Ox Baker Memorial Cup at WrestleFest when Venom seemingly hurt his knee during the contest only to see Venom fake his injury and dropkick the big man out of the match and dashing his championship dreams. As “The Revolution” prepares to enter the 2019 New England Hall of Fame in June, Lumberjake has kindly offered to send Venom back into retirement for the 2019 Kickoff for a battle of NCW’s past versus NCW’s present.

Also former partners collide when “DTF” Dan Terry battles Vern Vicallo while NCW President Dean “The Beast” Livsley presents “RIOT” Kellan Thomas with his new Ox Baker Memorial Cup trophy. Plus NCW New England Champion “The Ace” Mike Montero, NCW Tag Team Champions The Little Giants (Robbie “The Giant” Araujo & Bullet Grinvalsky), “Insane” Dick Lane and The Turtles in Time, Triplelicious, “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy, “Foxy” Calvin Campbell, “The Heavy Hitter” Shay Cash, The Abominable CPA, and many more!

The Jacob Jones VFW Post is located at 84 Eastern Avenue in Dedham, Massachusetts right off Route One directly behind the Tahiti Restaurant seconds from the town center!
