NORWOOD– On Friday night November 28th “Black Friday” comes to Northeast Championship Wrestling when we present the final event of our 2014 Season with NCW WrestleFest X live from the Norwood Lodge of Elks located at 152 Winslow Avenue in Norwood, Massachusetts. Sponsored by our friends at Papa Gino’s Pizza doors open at 7:30 with an 8pm bell time. Tickets will be available at the door $10 for adults and $5 for all kids twelve and under!
In the night’s Main Event Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas will face down his toughest challenge yet when he enters the NCW Championship Scramble, a four man elimination match featuring former NCW Champion “The Maine Event” Scotty Vegas and the 2014 Big City Rumble co-winners the Lumberjake and “Simply God’s Best” GA West. After West and Lumberjake qualified to wrestle Thomas at WrestleFest after winning the Rumble in August, the manipulative Vegas wormed his way into the title match after pinning “RIOT” in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at NCW NO FEAR. With elimination rules, all four men have an opportunity to leave Norwood November 28th the NCW Heavyweight Champion.
The volatile relationship between the Deputy Commissioner of NCW Richard Pacifico and “Dastardly” Doug Summers (with Ashley Vox) will finally come to a head at WrestleFest X when they compete in the Boston Massacre III, a hardcore war with both competitors putting their professional wrestling career on the line in the match. With “Dastardly” Doug declaring that NCW wasn’t big enough for the two of them last month in Norwood, Pacifico challenged Summers to the Massacre, a match he created back in 2008 when he competed at WrestleFest IV in Dedham, Mass. Despite concerns from the NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, the match has been signed for Norwood in what’s guaranteed to be a brutal affair.
A rivalry will be renewed on November 28th when “Ruthless” Ruy Batello goes one on one with his longtime nemesis “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva as these two NCW originals continue a war that started in 2006 when Paiva was running the NCW as President. This match is significant however, as the once beloved “Portuguese Sensation” has turned his back on the fans while Paiva has found a new path as one of Norwood’s most popular competitors. Despite the reversal, both men are ready for battle November 28th when their paths collide once more.
PLUS NCW Tag Team Champions the Underground Anarchy (“Bam” Brandon Behm & “Slamdance” Tim Lennox) defend the NCW Tag Team titles against the Loomis Brothers, former NCW Champion Buddy Romano challenges NCW New England Champion Rob “The Giant” Araujo, “Black Magic” Sean Feeney battles Santa Claus, and eight men enter the 2014 Season Cup for an opportunity at a Championship Match in 2015!
