Northeast Championship Wrestling kicked off its 2014 Season this past Friday night at the Elks Lodge in Norwood, MA with NCW COLLISION COURSE. All three Championships were defended in Norwood, headlined by “RIOT” Kellan Thomas defending his NCW title against Triplelicious.

– The NCW 2013 Rookie of the Year Tomahawk d. Donovan Dijack in a huge upset. A furious Dijack attacked “The Native American Powerhouse” following the bell, relentlessly mauling Tomahawk until Buddy Romano made the save. Taking offense to Romano ‘saving the day’, Dijack challenged Buddy to a match later in the night.

– NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley welcomed the Norwood fans to his State of NCW Address, with Livsley thanking the great Norwood fans for their support. While talking about the night’s matches, Livsley noticed the Deputy Commissioner of NCW Pacifico standing at ringside, seemingly to support the NCW Commissioner. Dean questioned how Pacifico got a New England title match against Rob “The Giant” Araujo, but he blamed dumb to accusations of abusing his power. Dean warned him that if he got out of line, he’d be getting his ass kicked.

– The Underground Anarchy (Tim Lennox, Dominic Delano, & Sean Feeney) d. Steve “The Turtle” Weiner & the BLT (Ruy Batello & the Lumberjake) in six man tag team action when Feeney stole a pin on Weiner after “Turtle” accidentally crashed into “The Portuguese Sensation”. Before the match Feeney denounced their relationship with “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger after Krueger was unable to win the Season Cup at WrestleFest IX, stating that Maniacally Twisted was no more.

– NCW New England Champion Rob “The Giant” Araujo d. Deputy Commissioner Pacifico to retain the NCW New England title after Pacifico distracted himself while attempting to use the timekeeper’s bell. Pacifico second guessed himself, giving Araujo the opportunity to hit a “401” and big splash for the win.

– NCW 2013 Tag Team of the Year The Loomis Brothers d. GLAM (“The Fitness Man” Dan Terry & Mi’chael Mullet) in tag team action after a vicious bicycle kick.

– Donovan Dijack d. Buddy Romano in brutal fashion.

– NCW Tag Team Champions Back to the Fuzion (“All Good” Anthony Greene & “The Showoff” Mike Paiva) d. The Inglorious Dastards (Tony Caruso & Brandon Behm) to retain the NCW Tag Team titles.

– NCW Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas w/ Kepler d. Triplelicious in a great match to retain the NCW Championship. Following the match Thomas gave props to the four time former NCW Champion, and promised to keep the “Reign of RIOT” going strong.
