The long awaited finale of the NCW 2013 Season finally took place at the Norwood Elks Lodge on Friday night February 7th. On this night “RIOT” Kellan Thomas defeated “The Maine Event Scotty Vegas to become NCW Heavyweight Champion after twelve long years of working his way to the top of the NCW mountain.
In addition to Kellan’s historic title victory WrestleFest IX saw Dean Livsley win back his job as NCW Commissioner, “All Good” Anthony Greene & “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva win the NCWÂ Tag Team Championship from the Inglorious Dastards while Rob “The Giant” Araujo regained the New England title from “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy.
