While NCW’s first Triple Crown Champion “The Maine Event” Scotty Vegas has had an on again-off again rivalry with NCW 2013 Big City Rumble winner “RIOT” Kellan Thomas since last Season, it seems that the reigning  NCW  Heavyweight  Champion hates Kellan’s trusty sidekick Kepler just as much as Thomas himself.

Heading into NCW WrestleFest IX on December 14th, if Vegas has any chance of walking out of Norwood with the NCW gold he’s going to need to overcome his ridiculous fear of puppets while also coming up with a smarter gameplan to take down the #1 contender.

During the main event of NCW vs. Team Dynamite in the Best of 7 Series Vegas was thrown off his game completely when Rob “The Giant” Araujo came out of their match with Kepler in tow. It was also apparent that Kepler helped Araujo and Dean Livsley equally to help win the series against Team Dynamite when “The Giant” used Kepler in getting a victory over “The Maine Event”.

The next day at NCW FALLOUT in Woonsocket, a frustrated Vegas along with NCW Commissioner “Dastardly” Doug Summers took Araujo & Thomas on in tag team action, leading to a huge beat down following the match with Vegas taking out not only “RIOT” but Kepler as well.
