Northeast Championship Wrestling celebrated our seventeen year REUNION this past Friday night at the Elks Lodge in Norwood, MA headlined by the Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas defending his NCW title against the returning “Dastardly” Doug Summers in what turned out to be one of the most frenzied and chaotic event in NCW’s long history.

BREAKING NEWS– What A Scoop! After receiving some important intel from the NCW offices over the last twenty four hours, theNCW.com has learned that Deputy Commissioner Richard Pacifico has completely altered NCW’s 17 year REUNION, pulling #1 contender “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy from his scheduled Heavyweight Championship Match with the NCW Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas tonight in Norwood.
During the NCW Heavyweight Championship tournament during the 2012 Season, Lumberjake shockingly defeated the NCW New England Champion to advance in the tournament. Paiva then set his sights on the 2011 Rookie of the Year, with both men trading victories back and forth with one another.
At NCW WrestleFest VII NCW Heavyweight Champion Buddy Romano was prepared to challenge Tim Kilgore in his final match, the same night as his daughter’s birthday. After scaring Kilgore’s daughter to tears, Romano and KIlgore combated in a personal war, leading to the entire NCW locker room helping Kilgore get a fair match.
Kicking off the NCW 2012 Season, Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley announced a 22 man tournament, with the winner taking the vacated NCW Heavyweight Championship following Tim Kilgore’s retirement.
In 2011 “The Knight Angel” BerZerker’s tag team partner Cenobite went missing after being attacked by an unknown assailant. After months of searching, BerZerker learned that it was the psychotic Richard Pacifico who assaulted Cenobite, seeking revenge for years of torment. After eliminating “The Knight Angel”, Pacifico set his sights on his longtime rival leading to WrestleFest VII and the Boston Massacre, a match that changed both men forever.
The epic rivalry between “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva and “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello spans over eight years. Though the war has raged for years, the height of their feud came in 2008 when Mike Paiva declared war on his fellow “NCW Originals”, doing his best to kill the legend of Ruy Batello once and for all leading to the events of WrestleFest IV.
Norwood, Massachusetts – On Friday night May 2nd Northeast Championship Wrestling’s (NCW) 2014 Season continues as NCW returns home to the Norwood Elks Lodge (152 Winslow Avenue) as we celebrate our 17 year REUNION event.
On May 2nd the NCW Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas returns to the Elks Lodge, defending his NCW Championship after missing the Friday Night Fights due to a fever of 103° and last minute trip to the Emergency Room. A re-energized Thomas looks forward to returning to Norwood and the Norwood fans.
In 2010 the fun loving Buddy Romano shocked NCW fans when he turned on the NCW Tag Team Champions Generation SLAM (Timothy Pittman & “Dynamic” Jon Thornhill), orchestrating a brutal attack on Thornhill along with his former Slamtech pal Owen Graichen leading to a very personal war between Generation SLAM and Generation SLAMtech.
On May 1st, 2009 at NCW’s 12 year REUNION NCW Heavyweight Champion David Loomis, “Dynamite” Doug Summers, “The Showoff” Mike Paiva, and Dean “The Beast” Livsley competed in a REUNION Scramble for the NCW Championship.
During the match Livsley was taken out by his rival Loomis with officials bringing him back for medical assistance while the three other men continued on with the match. After eliminating Paiva Summers fell prey to Loomis, with David and JC Marxxx believing the match was over, that is until the exhausted and injured “Beast” returned to the ring to finish the job.
At NCW’s 2008 REUNION (April 12th, 2008) in Pomfret, Connecticut Michael Tootsie Esquire attempted to wish NCW Champion “Dynamite” Doug Summers a happy birthday by bringing a cake to ringside during Doug’s title match with Tim Kilgore. Unfortunately for MTE things did not go as he had planned.
