If there’s another wrestler who epitomizes what NCW is about more than “Revolution” Chris Venom we’d be hard pressed to think of them as the two-time former NCW Heavyweight Champion gets inducted into the 2019 Class of the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame on June 7th, 2019. But it was months earlier when Northeast Championship Wrestling honored Venom as the first inductee in their NCW Honors that “Retro” Anthony Greene called out Venom and goaded him into ‘One More Match’ at NCW FALLOUT.Â
Since returning to the ring full time Venom has slipped back into bad habits, reuniting with his old Zero Tolerance pal Triplelicious and partnering up with Kevin Castro, “The Heavy Hitter” Shay Cash, and a young groups of scabs to torment The Lumberjake as Venom adapts to this new generation of pro wrestling .
Venom’s HOF career in NCW includes his two reigns as Heavyweight Champion, multiple reigns as Tag Team Champion with various partners (Dave Champion, Mike Bennett, & “The Egomaniac” Johnny Idol), and the 2005 Big City Rumble among many other incredible accomplishments over 20 plus years in the New England scene.
