NORWOOD– On Friday night February 17th Northeast Championship Wrestling kicks off our 2017 wrestling season and our twentieth year when we return home to the Lodge of Elks (152 Winslow Avenue) in Norwood, Massachusetts for NCW COLLISION COURSE! Doors will open at 7pm with a 7:30pm scheduled start time. Tickets are on sale online at theNCW.com/tickets and will also be available at the door the night of the event $10 for adults and $5 for all kids twelve and under.
War has come to NCW. After the chaotic events of NCW’s 2016 finale WrestleFest XII, representatives of new President Dean “The Beast” Livsley’s NCW and representatives of Beau Douglas and “High Class” Rich Bass’ coalition against Livsley have agreed to a summit in an effort to establish the rules of engagement while the promotion is at war with itself.
Despite these talks, Rich Bass has still allegedly placed a bounty on NCW Heavyweight Champion Lumberjake’s head after Jake defeated “Sensational” Scott Levesque at WrestleFest in their brutal Dog Collar Match, offering $5000 to anyone willing to take out the Champion once and for all.
The NCW New England Champion “Slamdance” Tim Lennox somehow survived WrestleFest with the New England Title intact, but the three-time former New England Champion Osirus has once again staked his claim to the New England Championship, demanding his guaranteed title rematch with Lennox February 17th at COLLISION COURSE and promising to become a four-time Champion at Lennox’s expense.
Also appearing February 17th in Norwood will be the new NCW Tag Team Champions The Heavy Hitters (Frank Champion & Shay Cash), “RIOT” Kellan Thomas, Rob “The Giant” Araujo, former NCW Tag Team Champions CrossFit (Brick Mastone, “The Fittest Man” Dan Terry & “The Prettiest Man” Derek Andrews), “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva, NCW 2016 Ox Baker Memorial Cup winner “Insane” Dick Lane and the Turtles in Time (Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, Curry Boy, & Delilah Hayden), The Underground Anarchy, and many more!
