NORWOOD– On Friday May 27th Northeast Championship Wrestling returns to the Lodge of Elks in Norwood, Massachusetts (152 Winslow Avenue) as NCW’s 2016 Season continues when we celebrate our 19 Year REUNION spectacular! Doors open at 7pm with an early 7:30pm bell time, tickets are available at http://theNCW.com/tickets and will also be available the night of the event at the door $10 for adults and $5 for all kids twelve and under.
In the night’s Main Event NCW Heavyweight Champion The Lumberjake goes to war with his former friend when he defends the NCW title against the Ox Baker Memorial Cup Winner “All Good” Anthony Greene, accompanied by his personal assistant Ashley Mason. The arrogant and controversial AG has shown his true colors since being revealed as The Masked Man last year at WrestleFest XI, all while throwing shade his onetime BFF’s Lumberjake and Mike Paiva. After declaring his intentions to use his guaranteed title shot against Lumberjake May 27th (after once again screwing over the #1 Contender “RIOT” Kellan Thomas at the Friday Night Fights), Greene has been even nastier in his actions, using every dirty trick in the book to soften Lumberjake up before REUNION and secure himself the NCW Heavyweight Championship.
The NCW Tag Team Championship will be decided May 27th at REUNION when #1 Contenders “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva and Rob “The Giant” Araujo challenge CrossFit (“The Prettiest Man” Derek Andrews & “The Fittest Man” Dan Terry) for their coveted titles. After tapping out Dan Terry in February and Mike Paiva defeating Derek Andrews in singles action earlier this month at NCW Saturday Night, Paiva and Araujo have huge momentum heading into this title opportunity while the CrossFit Club look to find any way to retain their gold.
The NCW New England Champion Osirus (along with the mad Doctor Ozone) continues his quest to become the greatest NCW New England Champion of all-time when he puts his title on the line against the undefeated “Dan Ram” Danny Ramirez May 27th at REUNION. Ramirez burst on the scene in February amassing an impressive win/loss record at 4-0 all while Osirus found himself regaining the New England Championship against “Sensational” Scott Levesque at COLLISION COURSE and becoming public enemy #1 with a multitude of challengers knocking on his door. At REUNION both champion and challenger jockey for supremacy, but who will walk out of Norwood the victor?
Also on May 27th in Norwood we will see three Ring of Thrones Qualifying Matches when the returning “Sensational” Scott Levesque (w/ “High Class” Rich Bass) battles “The Native American” Tomahawk, “The Selfie-Made Man” Vern Vicallo takes on Tyler Nitro, and the special REUNION Rumble featuring NCW competitors battling for the wild card spot in the Ring of Thrones!
