After successfully defending his NCW Championship at Homecoming against the impressive Brick Mastone, the reigning Heavyweight Champion Lumberjake looks to continue his hot streak at March Madness when he defends the NCW title in Norwood. But who will challenge for the gold? NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley has authorized an Open Invitational Battle Royal March 11th, with the winner receiving a Heavyweight Title Match later on in the night’s Main Event. With a sea of potential challengers lining up to get a crack at Jake’s title, the novice Champion will be watching very closely during the Open Invitational.
The NCW 2015 Rookie of the Year “The Selfie-Made Man” Vern Vicallo makes his return to NCW at March Madness after boycotting the 2016 Season kickoff, hoping the fans of Norwood have forgotten all about the embarrassments of WrestleFest when a yellow streak was painted down Vicallo’s back following his match with “The Native American” Tomahawk. But the CrossFit member and his partners-in-crime “The Fittest Man” Dan Terry and “The Prettiest Man” Derek Andrews will have to deal with the looming threat of The Heavy Hitters (Frank Champion & Shay Cash), the #1 contenders to the NCW Tag Team Championship that have been looking for their title opportunity since becoming #1 contenders back in October of last year. CrossFit have been actively ducking the challengers for months on end, but on March 11th the Champs will have to put up, or shut up when they finally meet the Heavy Hitters.
After chasing the NCW New England Championship for the last three years, the former GA West Osirus finally regained the title he held so dear to him at COLLISION COURSE, defeating “Sensational” Scott Levesque to win the Championship in a duel to remember. While Levesque and manager “High Class” Rich Bass have promised that this battle is far from over, Osirus is looking toward the future as New England Champion, promising a memorable reign with the mad Doctor Ozone by his side. One man who isn’t happy about the prospects of this new reign is “Ruthless” Ruy Batello, the four-time former NCW Heavyweight Champion who lost to Osirus at Homecoming in a very close match-up. Batello has stated that it’s over, when he says it’s over as far as he’s concerned.
“All Good” Anthony Greene and his personal assistant Ashley Mason will once again be in the house at March Madness, with AG an eye in the back of his head as the unhinged “RIOT” Kellan Thomas continues to stalk the Ox Baker Memorial Cup winner despite Greene’s aspirations for “bigger and better things.”
Also appearing in Norwood March 11th will be the unlikely duo of Steve “The Turtle” Weiner & “Insane” Dick Lane, “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva, “Slamdance” Tim Lennox, “The Dan Ram” Danny Ramirez, Triplelicious, Christian Casanova, NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, and many more!
