Scare Tactics: NCW NO FEAR Results

On Friday night October 16th Northeast Championship Wrestling returned to the Norwood Lodge of Elks for the penultimate event of the NCW 2015 Season with our annual Halloween spooktacular NO FEAR! A big thanks to everyone to dressed up and participated in our Best Costume Contest, with all our participants receiving tickets to NCW WrestleFest XI in November!

– In the night’s opener the former NCW Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas destroyed Mr. Wrestling XIII, with Thomas taking his frustrations over The Masked Man out on the poor hooded, shoe less grappler and decimating him in quick order.

Following the match, @NCWTelevision’s Atlee Greene went to get words with “RIOT”, asking Kellan about his state of mind after being screwed out of the NCW Title at FALLOUT. Thomas promised to find The Masked Man, and issued a challenge to the assailant for WrestleFest XI. Little did anyone know, the Scarecrow set up at ringside for the Halloween decorations was actually The Masked Man lying in wait! The mystery attacker laid Thomas out with a chair, then smashed the pumpkin over Kellan’s skull. The Masked Man then whispered in Atlee’s ear, accepting Thomas’ challenge for WrestleFest.

The Lumberjake, “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva, Redd Roche, Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, and NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley were called out by Ring Announcer Shane Daly, with the group being invited out to ringside anonymously.

From there “The Touch” hit the PA system, and the four time NCW Heavyweight Champion “Ruthless” “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello emerged, donning his old gold singlet and attempting to suck up to the Norwood fans. Unfortunately for Batello no one in the building was buying the change of heart, especially Lumberjake who promised to take the NCW Championship from Batello at WrestleFest. Angry, Batello said he figured Jake would turn his back on him, so he then brought out Jake’s Pick Your Poison opponent– “Sensational” Scott Levesque (alongside “High Class” Rich Bass)!

– The Lumberjake d. “Sensational” Scott Levesque w/ Rich Bass with a surprise rollup, with the match lasting less than thirty seconds. An irate Bass proclaimed Levesque wasn’t ready, and wanted the match restarted. Commissioner Livsley obliged, making the match a New England Championship Match instead.

Ruy and Jake– NCW New England Champion “Sensational” Scott Levesque w/ Rich Bass d. The Lumberjake after Ruy Batello distracted Redd Roche, allowing Bass to slide the New England Title into the ring and allow Levesque the opportunity to smash it into Lumberjake’s skull. Batello and Levesque then continued to put the boots to Jake, until a ferocious Osirus made the save chasing the two out of the ring.

Jake then announced that Osirus would be HIS Pick Your Poison challenge tonight for the NCW Heavyweight Champion, with Commissioner Livsley making that match a title match as well.

“Insane” Dick Lane and Steve “The Turtle” Weiner wrestled in their Falls Count Anywhere Match, with both men brawling out of the building and into the town of Norwood. Despite a brief reappearance later in the night the duo fought their way back out into the wild, where the match is still ongoing.

In a tremendous display of disrespect, the NCW Tag Team Champions Crossfit brought “The Selfie-Made Man” Vern Vicallo out dressed as “The Native American” Tomahawk.

The Loomis Brothers and “The Native American” Tomahawk d. the NCW Tag Team Champions Crossfit (“The Fittest Man” Dan Terry, “The Prettiest Man” Derek Andrews, & “The Selfie-Made Man” Vern Vicallo) in 6 Man Tag Team action when Davey Loomis bicycle kicked Dan Terry’s face off for the win while Vicallo and Tomahawk brawled around the Elks Lodge.

As intermission drew to a close, “The Turtle” and Dick Lane returned to ringside for some more brawling before once again fighting out to the streets of Norwood.

“Slamdance” Tim Lennox w/ TJ Richter d. “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva after a brutal curb stomp onto Paiva on the outside of the ring. Referee Rob Greer went to stop the match, but TJ Richter (who was pulled from referee duties by Dean Livsley before the match) assaulted Greer, putting his stripes back on and assisting Lennox in further destroying “The Showoff”. Following a dangerous ‘X-Factor’ off the top ropes Richter counted three for the Anarchist.

“The Mastodon” Brick Mastone d. Christian Casanova with a brutal spear after Crossfit interfered on Mastone’s behalf. The foursome then put the attack on the former NCW New England Champion until “All Good” Anthony Greene came out to even the odds. Greene then challenged ‘baby Rusev’ to a match right there.

– “All Good” Anthony Greene d. “The Mastodon” Brick Mastone once it was an even one on one contest, with Greene hitting his ‘1D’ on Mastone for the victory.

The Heavy Hitters (Frank Champion & Shay Cash) d. The Crooklyn Cranks (Triplelicious & Frank) and The Influence (Mike Montero & Jason Devine) in a #1 Contenders Tag Team Match to become #1 Contenders when Shay pinned Triplelicious after Frank shoved his boss away, walking out on Trip after non-payment for his services. The Influence returned to NCW to collect on their match from FALLOUT, but surprisingly found the Norwood fans hostile towards to high-flying tag team.

– NCW Heavyweight Champion “Ruthless” Ruy Batello d. Osirus w/ Doc Ozone with the ‘Portuguese Drop’ after Lumberjake left ringside to carry the cheating Rich Bass out of ringside as Bass and Levesque attempted to help Ruy. While gone Batello took advantage, pinning Osirus to retain the title. Following the match Lumberjake returned, only to have Scott Levesque and Batello go on the attack until the entire NCW locker room poured out from the back, brawling all over and ending the night with the fan favorites standing tall.
