NCW’s 5 year REUNION (April 20th, 2002 Bristol, RI)
NCW’s first REUNION celebration emanated from the Bristol VFW Post back in 2002, headlined by “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello and Emerald Fuzion (Mike Paiva & Jason Blade) w/ Mercedez taking on Zero Tolerance (NCW Champion Tim Kilgore, Chris Venom, & Triplelicious) w/ JC Marxxx in a Six Man Tag Match after Zero Tolerance eliminated and destroyed Ruy’s tag team partner MTE earlier in the night.
NCW New England Champion Johnny Curtis (WWE’s Fandango) also defended his Championship at REUNION, defending against “Extreme” Adam Hastey.
NCW’s 10 year REUNION (April 14th, 2007 Rochester, MA)
Our ten year celebration would see NCW raise money for the Kinsky Family, local residents who lost nearly everything in a house fire earlier that year. In the night’s Main Event Rochester Teacher Rob Impact went to war with “The Monster” Cenobite in a Non Sanctioned Street Fight. NCW Heavyweight Champion “Dynamite” Doug Summers made his first title defense after winning the Championship that January against “Revolution” Chris Venom.
Other action saw Scotty Vegas and Alex Chamberlain (The Maine State Posse) win gold when they defeated Generation SLAM to win the NCW Tag Team Championship while Evan “Hawkeye” Hunter (a young William King) hog-tied his way to the NCW New England Title beating Derik Destiny in their Hog Tie Match.
NCW’s 12 year REUNION (May 1st, 2009 Seekonk, MA)
A benefit for the Seekonk YMCA, NCW’s 12 year REUNION featured the first ever REUNION Scramble, with NCW Champion David Loomis defending against “Dynamite” Doug Summers, “The Showoff” Mike Paiva, and Dean “The Beast” Livsley. In a huge upset, Livsley pinned Loomis following a vicious powerbomb to win his first Championship in NCW.
NCW’s 14 year REUNION (April 9th, 2011 Dedham, MA)
In what would be Chris Venom’s final match in NCW, the two-time former Heavyweight Champion brought his wife and former manager Gina Marie back for one night only, battling his longtime rival/partner Triplelicious at NCW’s 14 year REUNION. This event was also notable for airing exclusively on WrestleStream.com, a first for NCW.
NCW’s 15 year REUNION (April 27th, 2012 Dedham, MA)
Following Tim Kilgore’s retirement at WrestleFest VII at the end of the 2011 Season a roster wide, multi-show tournament was held to crown a new Heavyweight Champion. The finals of that tourney took place at NCW’s 15 year REUNION, where “The Juice” JT Dunn defeated Buddy Romano to win the vacant championship.
In his first REUNION appearance, The Lumberjake would go up against “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva, nearly beating him for the New England Title. This event would also feature the final match for DUI’s “Impact” William Thorne, who moved to Florida shortly after.
NCW’s 16 year REUNION (April 26th, 2013 Norwood, MA)
NCW’s first REUNION in our new home of Norwood, MA the 2013 REUNION would showcase two huge moments in NCW history when Scotty Vegas became the first man to ever become Triple Crown Champion (winning the Heavyweight, New England, and Tag Team Titles) when he defeated Heavyweight Champion “The Juice” JT Dunn in questionable fashion while “Dastardly” Doug Summers stole Commissioner Dean Livsley’s job from him when he beat “The Beast” in Dean’s first match in three years thanks to help from his trainees Brandon Behm and Tony Caruso.
NCW’s 17 year REUNION (May 2nd, 2014 Norwood, MA)
NCW’s 17 year REUNION saw the shocking betrayal of Ruy Batello, as “The Portuguese Sensation” turned on his friend and tag team partner Lumberjake in a ruthless display of aggression after Batello assaulted “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva. The new NCW Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas also faced a huge challenge when “Dastardly” Doug Summers returned following his exile, returning thanks to the assistance of Deputy Commissioner Richard Pacifico.
