NORWOOD- On Friday night March 20^th Northeast Championship Wrestling continues our 2015 Season when we return to our home at the Elks Lodge in Norwood, Massachusetts (152 Winslow Avenue) for NCW’s MARCH MADNESS! Doors open at 7:30 with an 8pm bell time. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event $10 for adults and $5 for kids twelve and under.

Last month’s 2015 kickoff saw law and order crumble within the company as the rule-breakers of NCW brutalized Norwood’s fan favorites, most notably the reigning NCW Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas, who was laid out by the vicious Triplelicious in the closing moments of NCW COLLISION COURSE. On March 20^th the Ox Baker Memorial Cup Winner Triplelicious will utilize his guaranteed title opportunity to challenge “RIOT” in Norwood, pending Thomas’ status as Heavyweight Champion (Thomas is scheduled to defend his NCW Title March 13^th in Pembroke, MA). Regardless of who the NCW Champion is come MARCH MADNESS, Trip made a statement by attacking Kellan and has promised to leave Norwood March 20^th the first ever five time NCW Heavyweight Champion.

The rivalry between “Ruthless” Ruy Batello and the Lumberjake has only escalated since the end of the 2014 Season, with the shrewd Batello (allegedly) enlisting the help of The Underground Anarchy in his war against Lumberjake and “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva—collectively known as the BFF’s. While Jake continues to look for some payback on his former tag team partner, the bully Batello is setting his sights instead on the two time NCW New England Champion Rob “The Giant” Araujo at MARCH MADNESS, in a true battle of David versus Goliath.

The NCW Tag Team Champions David and Eddie Loomis will be on hand in Norwood, as The Loomis Brothers are put into their toughest challenge to date when they defend their NCW Tag Team Titles against three other teams in the NCW Tag Team Invitational. At MARCH MADNESS their challengers will be the former Tag Team Champions The Underground Anarchy (“Slamdance” Tim Lennox & “Bam” Brandon Behm) w/ “Black Magic” Sean Feeney, The Trailblazers (“All Good” Anthony Greene & “The Native American” Tomahawk), and Crossfit (“The Fittest Man” Dan Terry & “The Prettiest Man” Derek Andrews) who are riding high after an impressive victory last month against The Heavy Hitters.

Also appearing March 20^th will be the 2014 Rookie of the Year Christian Casanova, “Dastardly” Doug Summers w/ Ashley Vox, the former Legion Cage Kenny Banks, “Beautiful” Buddy Romano, “The MUTT” Ian Griffin, NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley, and many more!
