NORWOOD– On Friday night March 7th Northeast Championship Wrestling kicks off its 2014 wrestling season when we return to our home at the Elks Lodge [152 Winslow Avenue] in Norwood, MA for NCW COLLISION COURSE! Competing in a seasonal format NCW presents a unique showcase for fans of professional wrestling, bringing forth our larger than life characters, dynamic storylines, and incredible athleticism while providing a thrilling experience for fans of all ages.
The newly crowned Heavyweight Champion “RIOT” Kellan Thomas (along with his trusty sidekick Kepler) will be in the house March 7th putting his NCW championship on the line at COLLISION COURSE, defending against one of NCW’s original players in the four time former Heavyweight Champion Triplelicious. After triumphantly defeating “The Maine Event” Scotty Vegas at WrestleFest IX, Thomas looks to cement himself as NCW’s top dog by putting down the cagey veteran Trip in his first title defense.
March 7th will also see the returning Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley present his State of NCW Address to the Norwood fans after expelling the former Emperor “Dastardly” Doug Summers from his throne at WrestleFest. Livsley has promised a new beginning for NCW with the 2014 Season, and plans to wash away the bad taste of last year from the antics of Summers and his Team Dynamite sympathizers.
Also appearing at COLLISION COURSE will be the new NCW Tag Team Champions Back to the Fuzion (Mike Paiva & “All Good” Anthony Greene) defending their NCW Tag Team titles against the Inglorious Dastards (Brandom Behm & Tony Caruso), Donovan Dijack, NCW New England Champion Rob “The Giant” Araujo, Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, Deputy Commissioner Pacifico, the BLT (“The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello & the Lumberjake), “The Native American Warrior” Tomahawk, and many more!
The Norwood Elks Lodge is located at 152 Winslow Avenue in Norwood, Massachusetts, just moments away from the Norwood Town Center. Doors open at 7:30 with an 8pm bell time. Tickets will be available at the door $10 for adults and BOGO (buy one, get one) $ kids tickets.
