NCW Aftermath Results

Referees: Dan Tanaka & Redd Roche

– NCW ring announcer “Toxic” Tom Warren welcomed everyone to Aftermath, and then announced the new Commissioner “Dynamite” Doug Summers to ringside for his State of NCW Address. Before he began Summers welcomed the entire NCW roster to the ring to directly address his staff. Doug’s first order of business was officially signing his two young students to NCW contracts– revealing their true identities as “Terrible” Tony Caruso and “The Beast” Brandon Behm, with Doug stripping Dean Livsley of the “Beast” moniker. Doug then rechristened himself “Dastardly” Doug Summers, embracing the jeers from the fans while officially proclaiming his crew the Inglorious Dastards. Finally Summers also promised that at Total Elimination Buddy Romano would return to NCW, teaming with his group against Livsley’s team of the BLT and the Loomis Brothers.

As the NCW roster returned to the locker room, Summers kept Mike Paiva back for the opening contest, robbing “The Original Showoff” of his customary entrance.

“RIOT” Kellan Thomas w/ Kepler d. “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva after rolling through on Paiva’s attempted ‘sleazeball special’, trapping Paiva’s shoulders to the mat for the three count.

– NCW Tag Team Champions the Loomis Brothers d. Maniacally Twisted [“The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed & the Shadow] w/ Sean Feeney when David Loomis hit the bicycle kick on Creed.

“The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople d. “Jiving” Jimmy Capone and the Roadblock in a Triple Threat Match, with Sople building up an impressive win/loss record this Season.

– NCW New England Champion “Simply God’s Best” GA West w/ Doc Ozone d. Mike Graca Jr. in a great match to retain the New England title, barely getting by the tenacious rookie. Following the match GA West made an unofficial challenge to his former rival JT Dunn, the mentor of Graca.

– By keeping Dean on the NCW roster, Summers forced Livsley to compete at NCW Aftermath, taking on Michael Tootsie Esquire. With MTE coming to the ring in street clothes, the former Connecticut Champion believed he had no reason to gear up against the former Commissioner.

– Dean Livsley d. MTE in quick fashion, completely obliterating Tootsie.

– The Inglorious Dastards [“Dastardly” Doug Summers, “Terrible” Tony Caruso, & “The Beast” Brandon Behm] d. Rob the Giant, Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, & the Lumberjake in Six Man Tag Team action when Buddy Romano returned to the ring, assisting Doug Summers against Lumberjake and allowing Summers and company to hit their triad of finishers on the former Tag Team Champion.

“The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello d. “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger w/ Sean Feeney with ‘ruination’ in a hard hitting match-up. Krueger attempeed to eliminate Batello early on with his steel chair, but the former Heavyweight Champion was able to turn the tide despite interference from Feeney.

Scotty “Won’t Die” Vegas d. “The Juice” JT Dunn by count out in a brutal display of athleticism, winning the NCW Heavyweight Championship on a tecnicality stemming from a stipulation that was added last year during Dunn’s series of matches with Buddy Romano, where the title could potentially change hands via count outs or disqualifications. A dejected Dunn remained at ringside following the match, unable to process how Vegas shamefully stole the championship.

Referees: Dan Tanaka & Redd Roche

“The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople d. “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva after Sople narrowly escaped Paiva’s piledriver, delivering a vicious ‘whammy bar’ to the former New England Champion. A frustrated Paiva left ringside a broken and beaten man.

“RIOT” Kellan Thomas d. “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy in a tremendous back and forth battle. Following the match, Thomas extended his hand to McCarthy in a show of mutual respect.

“Simply God’s Best” GA West d. Too Shay and Kevin Perry to win the NCW New England Championship after Doc Ozone “accidentally” hit Shay with the New England title belt, assisting his nephew in winning the Championship.

The Shadow w/ “Black Magic” Sean Feeney d. “Jiving” Jimmy Capone after using the book of shadows on Capone.

David & Eddie Loomis d. Maniacally Twisted w/ Sean Feeney in the NCW Tag Team Invitational, retaining the Tag Team Championship and regaining possession of their stolen belts. The order of elimination was—

  1. The BLT d. Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner
  2. Maniacally Twisted d. the BLT after David Loomis accidentally hit the Lumberjake with the bicycle kick.
  3. The Loomis Brothers d. Maniacally Twisted after hitting Alex Creed w/ the bicycle kick.

Steve “The Turtle” Weiner d. “The Prick” El Saguaro after forcing Saguaro to tap to his “Shell-lock”. Following the match Weiner thanked the fans for supporting him for the last 8 years.

“The Juice” JT Dunn d. Scotty “Won’t Die” Vegas to retain the NCW Heavyweight Championship in a great match, after hitting the KO on Vegas. During the match Vegas nearly walked out with the championship, but referee Redd Roche was knocked out by an errant elbow from Dunn.

“Dynamite” Doug Summers d. Dean “The Beast” Livsley with the ‘beautiful disaster’ after two unknown assailants rushed the ring to help Summers in his win. Following the match the locker room poured out, chasing Summers and company out the front door. With the stipulations, Doug Summers is now the Commissioner of NCW.

#REUNION2013: The 16 Year Celebration Comes to Norwood

16yearREUNION

On Friday night April 26th Northeast Championship Wrestling celebrates our 16 year REUNION event when we return to the Elks Lodge in Norwood, MA for this huge night of wrestling action. Dating back to our earliest beginnings in 1997, NCW has grown into one of New England’s premiere wrestling promotions  while presenting a unique and unorthodox view of the pro wrestling world.

When NCW returns to the Norwood Elks Lodge we will see all three championships defended, a grudge match for the ages, the return of “The Portuguese Sensation”, and an anniversary shellebration to remember. If there is one place to be April 26 it will be NCW’s 16 year REUNION.

REUNION_NCWtitle

In the world of Scotty Vegas, sacrifice is necessary. Living and dying by the squared circle of NCW for the past seven and a half years, the sacrifice Vegas has given can never be repaid. He’s accepted this, and continues to forge ahead despite the pain and suffering he has endured. Following his loss to “RIOT” Kellan Thomas last November at WrestleFest VII, a frustrated Scotty Vegas attempted to walk away from NCW for good. Not willing to just let Vegas out of his contract, Commissioner Livsley forced Vegas to return as a ring announcer for the 2013 Season. Committed to do what he had to do, Vegas forged ahead. It was only when the NCW Heavyweight Champion disrespected Scotty that a spark was reignited inside the former New England Champion.

After being ejected from ringside as a ring announcer Vegas returned following Dunn’s title defense in Norwood, blindsiding the Champion and leaving him lying in the ring. At NCW’s 16 year REUNION Vegas returns to the ring with focus, drive, and determination. All the suffering he’s been dealt with will be rained down upon “The Juice”, giving Dunn his toughest title challenge to date.

REUNION_streetfight

June 2007. It was on this day that then-NCW Heavyweight Champion “Dynamite” Doug Summers wrestled the #1 contender Dean “The Beast” Livsley in Willimantic, Connecticut. It was on this day that Doug Summers felt his reign as NCW champion was coming to an end. Summers will be the first to tell you his fears that night, but the respect since then has faded away and replaced with disdain and disrespect.

What made Doug Summers snap last year on his tag team partner Steve Weiner? Was it his frustration with not becoming NCW’s first Triple Crown Champion? Was it being lost in the shuffle? Was it as simple as being overlooked by Commissioner Livsley during his war with Zero Tolerance? Regardless of the specifics it has brought us here where after 3 years of retirement Dean “The Beast” will step into the ring one more time to teach Doug Summers a lesson he will never forget at NCW’s 16 year REUNION.

The stipulations have also been announced for their Norwood Street Fight, and we know that whoever walks out of Norwood the winner will also be the NCW Commissioner. To ensure a fair fight and a true winner, if anyone interferes in the match they will be terminated from NCW immediately.

REUNION_TRIPLETHREAT

GA West has had one goal this Season, and that is to finally attain gold in NCW after narrowly defeating JT Dunn as the 2012 Wrestler of the Year. Unfortunately for West his business relationship with his uncle Doc Ozone has gone south, bringing “Simply God’s Best” onto a depressing losing streak just as he is about to challenge Kevin Perry for the New England Championship at REUNION. After leaving GA high and dry at March Madness, Doc Ozone introduced his latest client Too Shay at the Fight in Foxboro, assisting Shay in getting a huge victory over West.

With Shay’s big win, NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley  has agreed to add Shay to the New England Championship match in Norwood, making a Triple Threat Match under Sudden Death Rules. With Doc Ozone promise that the manager makes the man, GA West’s quest to upend Kevin Perry’s reign as New England Champion will go unfulfilled once more.

REUNION_taginvite

“The Maniacal” Jack Krueger hoped he had seen the last of “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello. In the two months since Krueger & “The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed put Batello on the injured list the cult of Krueger has grown, all while stalking the the NCW Tag Team Champions David & Eddie Loomis and making the Lumberjake’s life a living hell. At the Fight in Foxboro everything came to ahead for Maniacally Twisted as “The Portuguese Sensation” made a shocking reappearance, looking better than ever in his quest to get revenge on the men who put him down. With Krueger & Creed still holding the NCW Tag Team Championship belts hostage, the Loomis Brothers are fuming for another chance to get their belts back, all while pushing back the challenge of the psychotic Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner, who have once again singled out the champs for their own personal game of punishment.

REUNION_riotmike

While “RIOT” Kellan Thomas is no stranger to tag team competition, the former NCW Tag Team Champion does need to rely on his tag team partner to show for their matches. At the Fight in Foxboro Thomas was left high and dry when “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy failed to show for their match with Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner, forcing “RIOT” to change his gameplan against the unpredictable Pacifico. Left 2 on 1, Thomas went down in Foxboro and the only person he blames is McCarthy. REUNION will see these two talented individuals settle their differences the only way they know how– in the ring.

REUNION_turtlevselsag

8 years ago Steve “The Turtle” Weiner burst onto the New England wrestling scene, changing the wrestling landscape forever. For the man known as El Saguaro, he could care less about the career of “The Turtle” or his exploits over the last eight years. For Saguaro, his eyes are squarely set on the future and what that means for him and him alone. After picking up a TAINTed victory at the Fight in Foxboro, Saguaro heads into NCW’s 16 year REUNION with one goal in mind, making turtle soup out of Weiner and becoming one of NCW’s most valuable commodities.

REUNION_PAIVASOPLE

“The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva has been off to a rough start this Season, losing to “The Juice” JT Dunn and going 0-3 against the 2012 Rookie of the Year Anthony Greene. Taking his frustrations out on Greene Paiva laid out AG with two vicious piledrivers, delivering one right onto AG’s Rookie Award. This brought out the former NCW Tag Team Champion “The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople, who had enough of Paiva’s bullying. Challenging him to a match at REUNION, Sople looks to rough up “The Showoff” while Paiva looks to finally reverse his fortunes by getting a victory over “The Hellraiser”.

The Fight in Foxboro Results

Northeast Championship Wrestling returned to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Foxboro, MA for the 4th annual Fight in Foxboro this past Saturday night, the final stop before NCW’s 16 year REUNION April 26 in Norwood, MA.

Venue: Foxboro Knights of Columbus Hall
Ring Announcer: Shane “Sipowicz” Daly
Referee: Redd Roche
Commentator: Tom Warren

Loomis vs. Maniacally Twisted “The Hard Rock Hellraiser” Todd Sople d. “The World’s Fittest Man” Dan Terry  in the opener, knocking Terry out with his ‘whammy bar’.

The Shadow w/ “Black Magic” Sean Feeney d. the Lumberjake w/ Niki V after Feeney assisted in a distraction on Lumberjake. Following the match “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger & “The Twisted Hatter” Alex Creed then came out to assist in the beat down on Lumberjake. Announcer Tom Warren then bravely entered the ring to get a couple of words with Maniacally Twisted, who still had the Loomis’ Tag Team titles. Maniacally Twisted promised to become the true champions tonight.

Pacifico w/ Big Bully Rezner d. “RIOT” Kellan Thomas w/ Kepler after Bully interefered on Pacifico’s behalf. Originally scheduled to be a tag team match, Kellan’s tag team partner Mike McCarthy did not appear for his match, leaving “RIOT” against both guys.

“All Good” Anthony Greene d. “The Original Showoff” Mike Paiva, making him 3-0 against the former NCW New England Champion. A frustrated Paiva attacked Greene following the bell, and landed a vicious piledriver on the 2012 Rookie of the Year. Paiva then took AG’s award, and delivered another piledriver right onto his plaque, shattering the glass. Todd Sople then came out to help AG, and challenged Paiva to a match at NCW’s 16 year REUNION.

El Saguaro d. Steve “The Turtle” Weiner after a low blow behind the referee’s back.

– Tom Warren announced “Dynamite” Doug Summers and NCW Commissioner Dean “The Beast” Livsley for their contract signing, with Summers finally announcing the stipulations for him stepping into the ring at REUNION. In this intense exchange between both men we now know that;

  1. This match will be held under Street Fight rules. No count outs, no disqualifications, and anything goes.
  2. If any wrestler, manager, official, or employee of Northeast Championship Wrestling intervenes in the contest they will be terminated from NCW immediately.
  3. The winner of this match will be named Commissioner of Northeast Championship Wrestling.

Despite his reservations Livsley agreed to all the stipulations, and promised to teach Summers a lesson he’ll never forget April 26 in Norwood.

Contract Signing

“Simply God’s Best” GA West came out for his match, but was soon interrupted by Doc Ozone. Doc O talked about firing GA in Riverside, and said that the manager was bigger than the wrestler and could make anyone into a champion. Ozone then announced his client for the evening– Too Shay!

– Too Shay w/ Doc Ozone d. “Simply God’s Best” GA West in a huge upset after Doc O cost his former charge the match.

Rob the Giant d. “Dynamite” Doug Summers when Dean “The Beast” Livsley restarted the match after Summers used a foreign object on Giant to win originally.

The Loomis Brothers d. Maniacally Twisted w/ Sean Feeney via disqualification when Krueger & Creed used the Tag Team Championship belts as a weapon against David & Eddie Loomis. This brought out the Shadow to help join in the beat down, leading to the Lumberjake coming out for some revenge of his own. The tide quickly turned when Pacifico & Big Bully Rezner arrived on scene to assist in the carnage, but out of nowhere “You’ve Got The Touch” hit the PA and “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello returned after two months on the disabled list to single out “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger and Alex Creed. The rest of the NCW locker room then poured out as referee Redd Roche lost control of the situation, leading to a huge locker room brawl.
