NCW COVID-19 Event Update

UPDATED 7/18/20

Northeast Championship Wrestling would like to thank all of our fans for your ongoing support during this unprecedented time in the world as the United States continues to contain the COVID-19 pandemic implementing various “Stay-At-Home” orders state by state for the protection of everyone and attempt to flatten the curve.

With that in mind NCW Officials have continued to monitor the situation closely and as of now it’s all but certain that our scheduled events for April will not be taking place in Providence, Rhode Island, Dedham, Massachusetts, and Bristol, RI.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) extended the stay-at-home advisory in his state through the first week of May.

The original order, which closes all nonessential businesses and limits social gatherings to 10 people, took effect last week and was set to expire April 7. The extension is set to last until May 4.

The state of Rhode Island and Governor Gina Raimondo, which is closely following what’s happening in Massachusetts and across the globe, has currently issued it’s stay-at-home order through April 13th.

Our hope is to get back to business as soon as possible, and we’re currently eyeing our return to wrestling action on Friday May 15th in Dedham, MA for NCW’s 2020 REUNION event.
