This past Sunday the reigning NCW New England Champion “RIGHT STUFF” STEVEN LUST was injured at a Live Pro Wrestling event, with Lust severely hurting his shoulder during the match. While an unfortunate accident, it’s been known that Lust has been battling a multitude of injuries, with “THE COLD HARD TRUTH” JOHNNY PIERCE being a contributing factor to the broken down body of Lust after Pierce ruined the Title for Title Match at the Big City Rumble between the New England Champion and NCW Heavyweight Champion “THE ACE” MIKE MONTERO with Pierce choke slamming Montero onto the hurt Lust, bruising his ribs in the process.

Just an hour after Lust defended the NCW New England Title at NCW TNO: A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH against “FLAWLESS” NICK DIAMOND Lust was attacked in the parking lot, and while no specific individual has been named in the attack, the odds of Lust being able to maintain the grueling schedule he’s been on for the last year was bound to catch up with him.

While it appears Lust will not require surgery for his shoulder, time will tell about a timetable for his return to the ring. NCW Officials will be making a decision regarding the NCW New England Title over the next few days, with Lust himself providing input on the next steps. Ox Baker Cup holder “OLD SCHOOL COOL” CORY MICHAEL was prepared to cash in on “Right Stuff” October 25th in Dedham at NCW Who’s House?, and we are sure that Michael’s #1 contenders status will be taken into consideration.

From Steven Lust’s Facebook account–

I haven’t had the displeasure to announce anything like this in some time and it isn’t any easier than I remember. This past Sunday I suffered an injury that caused severe damage and torn ligaments in my ac joint. Fortunately, after being evaluated by an orthopedic specialist surgery is not necessary and physical therapy is in order. I’m greatful for this diagnosis and course of action as it could be far worse. I wanted to thank yet again everyone who has reached out to check in on me and those who aided me in the locker room. Needless to say it will take time to heal. Please continue to support local independent wrestling and the wrestlers. As my journey to getting back into the squared circle develops I’ll keep everyone in the loop. Thank you all for your support and I’ll see ya at the matches!

We wish Steve the quickest and speediest recovery as he embarks on his quest to return to the ring at 100%. After all the things “Right Stuff” Steven Lust has achieved, especially over the last two years, we wouldn’t bet money against him.
